Tuning in for 2011

Movie: Pachai Kili Muthu Charam Song: Un Siripinil Originally sung by Gauthami Rao (and Robby) I was listening to "Un Siripinil" from Pachai Kili MuthuCharam last week and somehow two other songs [Uyire (Bombay) and Malargale(Pudhukottailirundhu Saravanan)] kept lingering in my mind along with this one....... And then, I looked at the composer's name and figured "it's quite normal" :) Well, not sure how much this song can score based on the originality aspect. But, it for sure is one awesome song by Gauthami Rao (a perfect blend of Bombay Jayashri and Andrea Jeremiah I thought) Here is my rendition of the song (Please try using headphones)- If you cannot see the audio controls, your browser does not support the audio element

Got chemistry?

Equations in life can be complex. Well, we cannot really arrive at an equation most times . Sometimes reversible, sometimes irreversible  kind of reactions do people expect. The trick probably remains in balancing the equation, however it is formed.  When two people fall for each-other, it might be best if the reaction were an irreversible one forming a single compound . Well, you can break the compound if you "really" want to, but at least it should not be as simple as breaking a mixture. Make sure the bonding between the elements are strong enough. (Do/Can people analyze things before falling for each-other? They probably do only when they fall apart :) ) When you're no longer an element, you may not be able to do what "you" want all the time disregarding the other element in the shared circle.  Two people wanting different things, but are limited to one process with shared resources -  There can be just one process, so the process needs to be carefully plann...

Geometric Life

Geometry and Life - Many a time I've wondered why I even learnt Geometry ..etc., at school. Recently I did realize how these come in so handy while interpreting Climate models (and so on) , or when it comes to "handling real life".  Had a "seriously funny" (:)) conversation with a friend yesterday. At some point he mentioned something about  "drawing parallels  between two people". Now, this drove me to write this blog post.  "Geometric Rules of Life" ( Is there  a rule without an exception?)  1) Parallel Lines of life  - People with like minds "will never" meet. So if you find someone who thinks just like you "every single time", please don't conclude that he/she is the right match for you.  Note: Weak rule. 2) Perpendicular Lines of Life - We think alike just once..but that's okay  since we get to meet at the "right" time (right angles).. 3) Curvy Vs Straight lines of Life - One person is really focu...

Oh no.. are you happy?

“ Doing what I want when I want it “ is something not many can experience. And when you do, most times you are “single”. You have your own space, time and sources to cheer you up without having to compromise your “anything”, but beware .. “If you are one like that, then people want to know why you are so (well..with a frown) , because “being happy is questionable!” . There are optimistic ways to look at this. But well, if you are termed pessimistic for being pragmatic, it's alright to be the former. Few lines from one of my favorite articles:   In a couple-driven consumer marketing society, you're bound to come across people who wonder why you're single, as if the ultimate goal in life is to pair up with another human being and cling to that ideal as if your life depends on it. They might even imply that something's "wrong" with you if you're single.  Note: "Just a blog post" ....
