This song is one of my favourites.The lines of the song are very touching and powerful, but nevertheless would not have reached us without the beautiful voice of Susheela.
I could hardly find this song anywhere. But still remember my mom singing this and hence reproducing the same..
Short Description for the song: Like a lullaby, the mother sings about the tears of the poor (herself) ..

hey,

i could actually feel the mother's sorrow in your voice.But i am going to try and listen to the actual song and see how it was sung... good effort.my baby actually slept listening to the song.

Yes , its goin to be hard to find the original. The original singer almost cries in the song. I did not want to go to that extent.. cos I am not getting paid for the song like her :) jus kidding.
What more do I need when I could make the baby sleep ? :)

Geometry and Life - Many a time I've wondered why I even learnt Geometry ..etc., at school. Recently I did realize how these come in so handy while interpreting Climate models (and so on) , or when it comes to "handling real life".  Had a "seriously funny" (:)) conversation with a friend yesterday.
